Geotechnical Engineer – San Antonio, TX

Are you an experienced Geotechnical Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity that offers career advancement and internal growth? A leading, fast-growing AEC firm is seeking a mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to join their San Antonio office. This role will allow you to engage in a variety of geotechnical projects, including field explorations, laboratory testing, data analysis, and preparing geotechnical reports. You’ll also have the chance to collaborate with clients and make critical geotechnical recommendations that impact commercial, industrial, retail, government, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute geotechnical field explorations and testing
• Analyze field and laboratory data for report preparation
• Provide geotechnical analysis for pavement design, settlement analysis, pile systems, and slope stability
• Manage geotechnical projects from inception through completion
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure project success
• Assist with proposal development and oversee project management tasks
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively with clients

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Active Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as gINT, SLOPE/W, SLIDE, and Microsoft Excel
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
