Key Responsibilities:

– Lead Projects from Start to Finish: Manage all phases of geotechnical projects, from planning and budgeting to scheduling and resource allocation, ensuring a seamless project flow.
– Build Lasting Client Relationships: Act as the primary client contact, establishing trust, understanding their needs, and fostering long-term business partnerships.
– Provide Technical Guidance: Offer expert input on geotechnical investigations, analysis, and recommendations, ensuring technical integrity across projects.
– Oversee Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control processes, ensuring that all deliverables align with the firm’s high standards and client expectations.
– Support Team Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment and setting them up for success.
– Drive Business Development Efforts: Assist in proposal development, participate in presentations, and support the firm’s growth by helping to win new projects.
– Ensure Compliance and Regular Reporting: Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and keep clients and leadership informed with clear and timely progress updates.

They are looking for:

– A degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
– Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; PMP certification is a plus.
– At least 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience with a strong project management background.
– Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and leading teams.
– Excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information to clients and team members.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
– Proficiency in industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, gINT, and geotechnical modeling tools.
