We’re recruiting on behalf of a small, privately held land development company in the Raleigh/Cary area that is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join their growing internal team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Civil Project Manager, you’ll oversee and execute land development projects from concept to completion. This includes:

  • Managing residential single-family and townhome development projects

  • Performing design and calculations (stormwater, grading, utilities, erosion control, roadway layouts)

  • Reviewing plans, markups, and coordinating with contractors

  • Making site visits and responding to RFIs

  • Ensuring quality, compliance, and smooth coordination across stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant civil engineering experience (8+ preferred)

  • Strong background in land development projects, grading, and stormwater design

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Hydroflow

  • EIT or PE license required (PE in North Carolina strongly preferred)

  • Strong communication and project management skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $95,000 – $120,000 + performance bonuses

  • 3 weeks PTO + 7 paid holidays
