Director of Water Wastewater Engineering

A leading local multidisciplinary firm seeks a results-driven professional to be the director of its water wastewater division. This role requires a balance of business development, project management, and technical expertise to support municipal clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven water/wastewater engineering track record and experience managing teams and projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a seller-doer, managing both business development and project execution.
• Oversee and expand the water/wastewater team, ensuring project success and growth.
• Manage water modeling, lift stations, and troubleshooting for municipal projects.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with leadership to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Strong business acumen with experience in both project management and client development.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and drive business growth.
• Expertise in water modeling, lift stations, and system troubleshooting.
• Experience working with municipal clients and understanding their unique needs.
