Key Responsibilities for the Geotechnical Engineer position:

• Conduct geotechnical explorations, site characterizations, and risk evaluations for various developments.
• Work with lab technicians, ensuring quality control, equipment calibration, and certification compliance.
• Prepare technical proposals and geotechnical engineering reports for clients.
• Plan and execute subsurface investigation programs, including coordinating utility clearances and analyzing design plans.
• Perform design and analysis for earth embankments, retaining structures, shallow and deep foundations, and slope stability evaluations.
• Enforce quality control standards to meet project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (preferred).
• Certification:
  • EIT (required) or PE license (preferred).
• Experience:
  • 4-7 years of consulting engineering experience on civil projects.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software or the ability to learn quickly.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and quality-driven.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and meet project schedules.
