As the Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll step into a leadership role driving site/civil design for residential developments across Eastern Massachusetts. From single-lot builds to subdivisions of 25+ homes, you’ll oversee projects from planning through permitting and construction administration—while collaborating closely with an experienced team of permitting specialists and staff engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering design including roadway, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, traffic, parking, and ADA site improvements

Manage submissions and presentations to municipalities, planning and zoning boards, environmental agencies, and utilities

Prepare project narratives, respond to peer review comments, and present at public hearings

Supervise EITs in site investigations, soil evaluations, and design calculations

Oversee drawings, specifications, and technical reports ensuring compliance with local/state codes and permitting requirements

Provide engineering solutions during construction administration
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Massachusetts PE license (Civil)

4+ years of civil/site design experience: grading, drainage, stormwater, soil erosion, traffic/parking analysis, permitting, and peer review responses

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (or Carlson Civil Suite)

Strong communication skills and experience presenting at public hearings

Familiarity with MA agencies (MassDOT, MBTA, Massport) a plus

Project management experience and familiarity with tools like Procore a bonus
