Role Overview:

As a Structural Engineer (EIT or PE) with this Nashville-based firm, you’ll handle design and analysis for both new construction and renovation projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring project success, from conceptual design through construction, while developing your expertise with cutting-edge tools like Revit and RISA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to refine design solutions.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
• Review project-related documents such as shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
• Work with Revit and structural analysis programs like RISA.

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain one in Tennessee).
• 1-5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with Revit and structural analysis software.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE).
• A detail-oriented, team player with excellent communication skills.
